* The Church Council Officers for 2006 are:
Gail Colahan, Vice President * Church Council voted to: · Purchase coffee for all congregation-wide fellowship events through the LWR Coffee Project (see article elsewhere in the newsletter). · Use Lenten Self-Denial Offerings toward St. John's benevolence to Synod.
Did You Know? · In April, WELCA contributed $5000 toward the Parish House rennovation project. · Janice Wagner, representing our congregation, and Dawn Baxter, representing the West Berks Mission District, attended the National Gamily Promise Confernece in Savannah, GA in order to assist Berks County's affiliation with this program and our congregation's direct involvement as a host site (see article elsewhere in this newsletter). · Tim and Keith Klein. under the guidance of Pastor Burkhart, adjusted the spotlight so the altar is now properly illuminated.
